I’ve been trying to get a decent picture of a chipmunk for a while, but it’s not easy. They’re quite camera shy and they zip around very quickly. This guy posed on a porch for just long enough though.

They are so cute. We don’t have those here and there are restrictions on keeping or breeding them. But there are some exotic Siberian ones (originally pets 🙄) that escaped and are sometimes spotted in the wild. Nice photo!

It’s amazing how much the little stripes help. Because otherwise they’d just be chubby mice. I’m going to have to go look up Siberian chipmunks now.

I’m a step ahead of him there, as I don’t have a car. Knew a woman last year who had squirrels or something eat out the wiring in her Volvo.
Back when I lived on the farm I had mice who made a nest in my mailbox. I just let them live there. I don’t know what the mailman thought.

I just got a fox this morning! It helps that I’m out walking early, but it’s still hard to get some of these guys. Chipmunks really don’t like sitting still.

I could have gotten a coyote the other day, but that was from my car. I still watch first, think about a picture later. The fast ones I’d never get anyway.
