Yes, the annual book sale the library puts on is coming up at the end of the month. I’ve posted bookmarks for this event before, but this year I managed to find a couple of really old ones. If 2026 is the 18th sale then 2007 and 2008 must have been when it all got started. Back when they only advertised “hundreds of books.” There now must be tens of thousands. I’ll bet these bookmarks from twenty years ago are the only ones still in existence. This is what happens when you never throw anything out!

Just sticking to two meals a day and no snacks or desserts. I know how to lose weight, it’s just not a lot of fun.

Oh the bookmarks are like flyers so they started giving them out at the libraries a few weeks ago.

Definitely starting to get hyped.
There are no facilities where they hold it, and it’s a long bus ride, but I think I can manage. I did the last two years. I wish they’d pick a location that was a little closer though.
