There goes the neighbourhood VII

Well, they are certainly coming along. But they are being rented out to students and I thought they were listed as being ready to move into by September 1. Which is only a week away. They don’t look like they’re a week away from having people living in them. So I don’t know how that works. I hope they don’t try to finish them in a rush. A man in a rush makes mistakes.

  1. Once the hard part’s done it’s amazing how fast they can go. That’s how it always seems to me when I see this sort of thing. Or it may be just because by then I’ve lost interest and it just *seems* to go much faster.

    • I always hate when I have a job I’ve hired people for and it’s a rush because it’s a Friday before a long weekend or something. I have to keep telling them to take their time and don’t rush it. People get sloppy when they’re trying to get something done fast.

  2. Well when I was at university I remember a big block of student flats still being under construction when they started moving in. I think they knocked the price down a bit for the ones who had gone there under the promise it would be finished.
