Working out doors is no joke. I’ve never broken a bone falling, but I’ve hurt my tailbone pretty good, so if it is icy on the ground, the spikes come out π
I’ve always wondered how useful those spikes would be though in the city. For my walk this morning I was cutting across two parking lots that were covered in thin ice. What would the spikes be digging into? I guess maybe they would help a bit, but I’d need to get used to them.
They are like crampons, just smaller and in a rubber sole so it stretches over the outside of your boot. It either grips the ice itself or whats under the ice if it is that thin. It just keeps you from sliding.
Ooh thatβs chilly!

Just got back in from a walk. It was a north wind and when you were walking into it, it was fierce! I had to walk backward a couple of times.

Unfortunately it was icy too, so that made it really difficult! Super skillz needed.

March came in like a lion for us, and so far, I’m seeing no real “lamb” aspect any where…

Unfair? Unfair is we went back into the high 30s yesterday. Out of nowhere! I haven’t checked the forecast, I’m just hoping it warms up today.
