Ahhh, that’s why I don’t remember it. I don’t think of that as “see through” even though technically it is.

You should straighten up those books; letting them lean like that isn’t good for their spines.

I lean some books, mainly just to keep others from falling over. Isn’t it only a problem if they’re oversized? Or maybe trade paperbacks. I don’t know. Most of my shelves are full anyway!

Good posture is important regardless. And if you ever get one (as I have) that’s been leaning for a very long time, the darn thing *stays* cockeyed. Plus it puts a lot of stress on the joins.
This is what bookends are for, but in my world they just take up too much space.
