Weather updates for yesterday morning and today. It wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t the case that it’s been like this for over a month. It’s that time of year when you start to feel like enough is enough.

Sometimes we have cold snaps but they don’t usually last this long. The entrance to my igloo keeps having snow blown into it, and my dogsled sometimes won’t get started in the morning!

Wowza, that IS cold! Suddenly I feel a little bit better. Not much mind you, but a little. And every bit counts in the blasted month of February!
We got another 12-16cm of snow yesterday. I was surprised because usually once it gets this cold there isn’t enough moisture left in the air for snow. Jokes on me I guess. At least it is super light and fluffy.

Yeah at least we didn’t get any more snow. They’re running out of places to pile it. And things are supposed to warm up this week. Fingers crossed. I’m pretty much ready for spring now.
