I’m interested in Zehrs. It’s not just one market. How many markets are in there?

Zehrs is a big grocery chain in Ontario, a subsidiary of Loblaws, which is the biggest grocery chain in Canada. They call this store “markets” because it’s sort of set up like that inside with different areas for different kinds of stuff (bakery, deli, etc.). But it’s just a grocery store.

So just like Walmart. I was afraid of that. I was hoping for something exotic. : -)

There is an exotic food market in another part of town but I don’t go there very often because . . . I don’t eat any kinds of exotic food.

When I first moved here, the local Walmart had a pet fish area, which was a holdover from my childhood when that sort of thing was common. That’s long gone now, but it was cool while it lasted.
