Halloween is coming up this week. These inflatable lawn decorations seem to be all the rage. I did a post on one of the more excessive last year. Here are a couple of others I saw yesterday morning. I like the ‘hands up’ skellys in the lawns! They do a similar thing around our estate but not until actual Halloween. Your lot are a bit keen! I will be carving my big pumpkin and getting Henry out and hung up in the window!

Yeah we’re a keen bunch around here. Any excuse for a party! This year I might even have kids coming by so I picked up some candy. Usually there are no kids. But if they don’t show I’ll just have to eat it all myself.

Yeah, the skeletons are cool. I used to be pretty snooty about the inflatable stuff, but these days I’m happy with whatever I get. One house I pass has a giant 12-foot skeleton in the yard. (Unfortunately, they diminish it slightly, like that Minion of your earlier picture, by having it next to a giant 12-foot alien.)

You mean an Alien-style xenomorph? That would be amazing to see on a lawn. But if it’s just a generic green guy that wouldn’t be so great.
