More embossed leather bookmarks from my (one and only) tour of the U.K. in the year 1976. And yes, I was wearing short pants.
For some reason I seem to have picked up a lot of these in Scotland, even though I don’t remember being there very long. I’ll have to see if I can find my (one and only) journal from the trip and post pics.

I really like those leather with the fringe kind of bookmarks. What place is the red and the blue depicting? I can’t make it out from the pix…

Yeah, I don’t know if they have these anymore at tourist sites. Like I say, I picked these up 40 years ago.
The blue one is Braemar Castle. The red one is four different tourist spots: from the top: Edinburgh Castle, Loch Lomond, Balmoral Castle, and Burns Cottage.

Thanks. I couldn’t make out what they were.

Yeah, it’s because I figured I’d post a pic of all four of them together. Lots of bookmarks to get through!
And I meant I picked these up *fifty* years ago. Yikes.

And they are still looking good. I’d say that leather was worth every penny 😀

Nessie in a tam! Doesn’t get any more Scottish than that.

These are my favorites so far. I’d like to stack em up and turn them into my own fidget toy.

This is why I can’t let anyone play with my bookmarks!
