Many bookmarks come with tassels. They just seem to go together.
(Note: I’m ashamed to admit I already featured these two bookmarks in an earlier post. This happens. It’s hard to keep track sometimes of what I’ve already taken pictures of.)
Book: The Hollow Crown: Shakespeare on How Leaders Rise, Rule, and Fall by Eliot A. Cohen

Of course, you hang the tassel out over the pages when you close the book so you can find your place easily. These two are very medieval looking.
How is the basement library coming along? Got all your books in yet?

Yep, the tassels have a function. Library is pretty much done. Rest of the house not so much!

Are you cataloging your book shelves alphabetically/by categories/book size or randomness?

Mainly by topic. Most of the downstairs is non-fiction, so there are areas: classical period, British history, American history, WW1 and 2, true crime.

I can’t remember where I got these. But then, I don’t remember where most of my bookmarks came from now.
