Or really the whole family is back. Yes, it’s groundhog day. The real groundhog day, that is. The return of the sub-porch pirates. But not under my porch, because I filled it with rocks. Still, they like to hang out on my porch steps. Go away!

Buy a couple of kilos of arsenic from your local chemist. then stuff it inside some cupcakes and leave them on your steps.

I’m not sure the local ‘pothecary stocks arsenic. Plus I’d probably forget that I put the cupcakes out and end up eating them myself.

Well, I tried recommending guns last year (pretty certain anyway), so it’s either poison or tricking them into hanging themselves.

Awww. I bet they’d be friendly if you left bits of food down for them, and they’ll be nice pets, won’t mess up the house if they’re under the porch at least.

Food wouldn’t make them friendly, just fat.
The holes can be a problem. They dig under foundations. Plus I think the holes attract other critters too, like skunks.

I think that dogs are mainly family pets. It’s hard to have a dog with one person in the household. Plus I get really attached to them and don’t think I could handle losing another best friend.

Aw, I get that, we’d decided not to have any more cats after Skye and Storm for the same reason, yet here we are. 🙄
