Mini-carts

I had an earlier post about a shopping cart that I saw oddly placed on a shipping container one morning. In the discussion that followed I mentioned how my local library branch has little shopping carts for the kids to play with. I think they’re only a foot-and-a-half tall. I guess the idea is that the kids can fill them up with books, but I’m told they just like pushing them around. I think they’re adorable.

  1. Last Christmas we got our niece a little Target shopping cart. She loves going with “Mommy” to Target and pushing her cart around. Makes her feel like she’s all grown up 😀
I imagine its the same principle for the library ones.

  2. A foot and a half high? That *would* be cute. Since you seem to have a thing for shopping carts, I’ll give you a fun fact you may already know but I only learned of about a year ago. It’s not all carts, but some of them have a little chain attached to the bottom. It seems so pointless. But the fact is, it drags. So it’s a ground, in case the cart gets hit by lightning. I’m happy to see that this mini-cart doesn’t have a chain. Kids don’t need to be pushing carts around in a thunderstorm.
