Back when I was doing a lot of puzzles this kind were always my favourite. Because you can pick up almost any piece and from looking at the picture you had a pretty good idea of where it was going to go. We had a few of these folk-art inspired puzzles that I did several times.

That looks like it’s taken from a proper painting. What are the 3 squares at the bottom all about though? I don’t like doing jigsaws, just give me the picture already!

I’m sure it is a painting. Don’t know the name of it though as I didn’t keep the puzzle. The three squares at the bottom are quilts that are being stretched. That’s actually a common motif in several puzzles I’ve done. Quilts and puzzles go together.

Doing puzzles is one of those things that “sounds” fun to me but the reality is that after I would do one, I’m set for life 😀

I wouldn’t want to do puzzles all the time. But for a few years I was doing a lot of them for . . . reasons.
I’m pretty sure this was a 1000 piece puzzle. Which is a lot (for me) but it was pretty easy so I didn’t mind.

Those are out of my league. I think I tried one once and it didn’t come out right. Seems like if you want to make a model you should just do one of those, but I guess they’re not quite the same thing.

I have difficulty putting furniture together so I doubt I’ll ever try one. I just like that unlike ordinary puzzles that you disassemble right after you’ve made them, with these you get to display the result.

I know people who frame jigsaw puzzles they’ve finished and hang them on the wall. Not me, but it is something people do.
