Playing outside really was a thing. I remember that. Not sure about this leaving babies on the porch business though.

Even the babies had skin as tough as leather. And lungs that could withstand a deep freeze.

Make them the same way, just raise them differently.
Come to think of it, we don’t always make them the same way either. Oh well.

I used to play outside a lot as a kid all through child hood. Took being an adult to stay in all the time.

I’m an indoor kid these days, mostly. But yeah, we were banished from the house until the street lights came on.
