This is bold behaviour. Foxes in my neighbourhood don’t have any problem with just hopping up on the porch to smell the spring flowers. Then loping off for a walk down the sidewalk. This fellow even let me take his picture. Or her picture. Not sure which.

Huh, that is weird! Are you sure it wasn’t rabid?

Oh no, rabid you can usually tell. This wasn’t that sort of odd behaviour, just bold.

I take it you have no experiencing in sexing foxes?
That’s quite a grand floral arrangement, where do you live, the palace of Versailles?

Versailles is only my summer cottage. It’s too expensive to heat year round.

Steady on, it’s just a fox. They’re not like Basil Brush, they’re all teeth and claws.

You just wish you had nice-looking black socks like that!

That applies to a fair percentage of animals, doesn’t stop them being cute or handsome.

I’ve seen one on the wildlife camera in the garden, (I say wildlife, but mostly it’s hedgehogs and cats) but only twice in 5 years, and at night so they don’t visit often. Would like it if they did, and in daylight!
