Another pic from my garden. I don’t know the name of any of the stuff in my garden, as careful readers have pointed out on previous occasions. I’m just not a plant person. I don’t know what this purple ground cover is, but for a couple of weeks in the spring it looks nice.

I never tried that! It does look a bit like pictures of lavender. I’m the worst person in the world at identifying plants.

Those apps are pretty impressive. I was with friends last night having dinner on their back porch and we were listening to a bird and one of them took out their phone and held it up and there was an app that told them what kind of bird it was.
