Alice Munro died this week. I know I have some Munro bookmarks, but couldn’t locate them in storage. I’m still getting my collection organized. So this bookmark promoting Pedro Almodóvar’s Julieta, a 2016 adaptation of some of the stories in Runaway, will have to do.
Book: The Concise Oxford Companion to Canadian Literature ed. by William Toye

I’ll probably upgrade my review of Away from Her. Munro was certainly a master of her art. How much organisation do a bunch of bookmarks take?

You’d be surprised! Lots of different ways of sorting them out: material, subject matter, etc.

That’s a creepy looking bookmark. And that “praise” sounds like someone who is brown nosing….

A lot of pull quotes are embarrassing. Plus the way they’re used makes every critic sounds like an ad writer, since they’ve been turned into advertising.

Not seen one advertising a movie before, strange.
