Well, I don’t know if it’s a magic carpet. But it’s a Turkish carpet. Close enough!

Sigh…sorry to spoil your magic carpet ride but it’s Istanbul, not Constantinople.
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Now it’s Turkish delight on a moonlit night
So if you’ve a date in Constantinople
She’ll be waiting in Istanbul
Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can’t say
People just liked it better that way
Why did Contsantinople get the works?

I used to dance to that. But it will actually always be Byzantium to me.

When I went to Turkey we got taken to a carpet shop on one of the excursions, but they didn’t have magic ones so I didn’t get one.

I think they cost extra. I just got the bookmark.

You’re both a bunch of old fogey’s. The only song to sing while riding a magic carpet is “It’s a Brand New World” from Disney’s Aladdin.

You stay young by watching the movies the youngsters are watching.
That’s why I watched that stupid “Five Nights at Freddies”. Made me weep that that is what kids are growing up with…

You watched that? I’m amazed. Looking forward to your review.

Prime had it for free and after hearing a couple of kids at church talk about it, I wanted to see what they were talking about.
I won’t be reviewing it. But let’s just say I wouldn’t be letting my hypothetical kids ever watch it…

I was wondering if even I would bother with it.

Apparently there is a website/game/books/etc tied into it? It was really just outside of my zone of interest.
