A pair of very nice Robert Hall originals, pewter and ribbon. I’m not sure if there’s any connection to be made between a bagpiper and an inuksuk, but for just this once you can see them lying side by side.

Have you ever laid a bagpiper alongside an Inuit stone marker and found out?

Does it count if I’ve laid beside either?

Only at the same time.

Nice word usage, inuksuk. Did you have to look it up or is it one of the words from a song of your people?

Believe it or not, it’s not an uncommon word in these parts. You see these little stone men everywhere. They’ve become a kind of kitsch culture.

They’re cool, are they part of a series?

I think the creator makes a number of them, but I don’t think they’re a series per se. The light for this pic was crazy bright (you can tell from the shadow) so the ribbon is actually more a navy blue. It looks black in the picture. I’m still learning how to be a pro photographer.

iPhone. Needed to get it for family business. Hardly use it.

Yeah, just the odd snap though. Not really looking for pics.
