This is a pic I took on Valentine’s Day, looking up a hill that’s again barely noticeable. It’s going the other way and on the other side of the road from my previous bin post. But what’s worth noting here isn’t the line-up of bins but something else entirely that’s not bin-related. Where’s the snow? It’s the middle of February and this is Canada! What’s going on?

You had snow in Binstagrammed III in January, wasn’t that enough?

Enough for me. I’m not a big fan of snow. But it’s strange because we should be deep in snow this time of year!

Let me be your Fat Joe here…a lovely shot, the angles of these bins just right, I guess the lack of snow doesn’t provide a specific memory, but this evokes a specific tone and place in the annals of rubbish collection, and deserves more than to be dropped into the dustbin of history.

The sad tilt of the green organics bin was a bit of found poetry. I don’t think the truck could have dropped it off so perfectly by design.

Every single one petered out like an old man. I think the biggest we got was about 1ft and that was super soft and fluffy that packed down to about 4inches after a 50degree day!

Ah, then you’ve been lucky. We haven’t had any major snowfall at all.

We’ve had a lot of rain though. If the temps had been colder, we’d probably have something like 3ft of snow lying around.
