I don’t think I’m really keen on beaded bookmarks, at least ones where the beads go between the pages. But this is nice.

I think it’s what everyone associated with the Third Reich would have wanted; I hope any surviving members see this and appreciate the effort you’ve made choosing it to go with this book. Ideally, some swastikas would be a strong thematic link, but this mix of ocean blue beads will do for now.

I don’t always have an appropriate text lying about. And I don’t own any Nazi memorabilia, even a bookmark, to put in a history of the Third Reich. So I have to mix and match.

Agreed, cheaper to rent it for big occassions.

That is pretty, and that’s a good book, Phil has it on his war shelf.

It is a good book! I was reading it along with listening to some lectures by the author. Learn a lot.
And yes, a pretty bookmark. I don’t think beads are a good idea generally for bookmarks though, unless they’re at the end of ribbons.

No I Imagine they are not that secure.

It must have been a gift, but I don’t know who from or when. So . . . pretty much a mystery.

Ok, thanks. I guess I’ll google to see if I can find any bead bookmarks…
