Doing my part.
It’s been brought home to me by the online community that taking bins to the curb is a civic ritual in places ranging from Gateshead to New Hampshire. Even small villages in Scotland have blue recycling bins for cardboard, cans, bottles, and old film reviews that are occasionally reposted as “new” content.
Just remember that “reduce” comes before “reuse” and “recycle.” It’s a hierarchy, and your goal should always be to make do with less.

I’ve got too many book reviews to use precious post time on bins. Plus, I don’t have any. We just toss our bagged garbage into great big metal containers that the garbage truck empties twice a week. Maybe they’re technically “bins” but I don’t thinks so….

Because organics are less than regular garbage usually. Plus organics get put out every week and the others only go out every other week.

I’m not ruling out a subpoena if Alex continues to be evasive about the location and contents of his bins. We don’t want anyone’s bins, we want Alex’s bins! Hold him in contempt until he realises he’s on the wrong side of history!

I put my bins out. Sometimes I put my neighbours’ bins out when they’re away. It’s all part of being a super bin person.

It was easier to get a picture of me putting mom’s bins out because there was somewhere there to take my picture. Little did I know this would become a thing . . .
I note in passing that Dix did not post a picture of himself putting his bins out. He just had a snap of some random bins. Total fail.

I think an invitation was sent out to everyone on the Internets. Not having bins does complicate things, but if you have a dumpster I guess that will have to do.

Oh, er, missus….I’m just getting started, that was just a teaser. At least we are establishing clear parameters for what we consider a Classic ‘Binstagram’ shot. Alex hid behind his family bins. He tried to reframe the narrative as a debate about his legs. Put these legs aside. What is he covering up? What doesn’t he want us to see? It’s a cover up…but why?

Well, you shouldn’t rush. You want to show your bins/dumpster in the best possible natural light, which sometimes you have to wait for.
