Is the little stone statue an owl or a frog?

It’s an owl. I think it’s maybe supposed to scare other birds away or something. The first picture has more of him.

It should keep the small stuff away anyway. Don’t know how effective it actually is though.

Well, the pond seems to be left alone every year. Which is nice because it seems like a lot of work.
