I just recently found this package of children’s bookmarks. I have no idea when or where I got them, but I think they were printed in Japan. They depict Mr. and Mrs. Noah and some of the animal pairs that were on the ark. I also included the package they came in, but I don’t know what the lettering on the side of the ark says. Any help? I also wonder why Noah and his wife are so cheery and who they might be waving at.

They’re cool! Not sure the writing on the boat is Japanese, but I’m not certain.

Yeah, I wasn’t sure what it was. But the writing on the package was all Japanese so that’s why I thought it might be. It’s quite a neat little collection though regardless.

They are smiling so much because after a year of being cooped up on the boat with their 3 sons and daughters in law, they’re happy to get away from them!
I have zero idea about the words….

Hm. I’d still feel a bit down about all the dead bodies floating by.
I wonder if the words are made up.

A year in water, there were no bodies left. And most creationists speculate that the animal life all got crushed down and that’s how the oil reserves of today happened. Not slowly, but in one big “whoooosh!”.

Hm. I can see some people have spent a lot of time thinking about this!

They have. And they use much more precise language than me 😀

Very old fashioned bookmarks, this stuff went out with the ark. Have you got anything more up to date?

*sigh* Age adds value to collectibles. They aren’t old-fashioned, they’re vintage.
